Salt Paper Pint of Egyptian Woman with Child Circa 1870

Salt Paper Pint of Egyptian Woman with Child Circa 1870.

From a collection of other photos, some dated 1871, this one is undated but judging by the process, it is a Salt Paper and of the same time period.
The Egyptian Woman poses with a small sleeping child resting on her shoulder and head. The detail in the photograph is amazing. Crisp imaging and seeing the folds and wrapped and layered fabric is breath taking and a rare insight into this time period of Egypt.
The photo is labeled under the image, “A Egyptian Woman” written in a ion based ink.
