13 C. Early 19th C. Chinese Carved Mother Of Pearl Gambling Card Tiles
Very Early 1800's Chinese gambling card tiles. Each tile is a thin veneer of a mother of pearl finely etched and detailed at the edges. The three fish have detailed scales while the longest tiles has a farmer plowing a field with an amazing detailed boarder.
Year: Circa early 1800's
Size: longest Tile 2 3/8" and smallest one being the round one 1 3/8 inche
Condition: fine with one tile having a small chip to the edge and the longest tile has a small corner chip. Please see images for details and for a visual description.
