Un-clipped Dust Jacket
The Chilean poet, Pablo Neruda created the poem Bestiario in 1958, using insects and animals as metaphors for his role and reality of life. The Artist Antonio Frasconi, has been a “admirer of Neruda’s art” created the art for the poem in his woodcut style. The bold and Black and some two tone color give rise to the striking visual to the art of the poem which is in both Spanish and English.
Size: 8 1/2 x 11 3/4 inches
Condition: The binding is Very fine with no writing or damage to the spine or the crisp white pages. The Dust Jacket has some edge wear and minor chipping to the front and back. Un-clipped Dust Jacket. The front has small top edge tear and small curl to the top edge. The bottom has small chipping and slight curl to the edge. The back has slight curl to the top edge of the Dust Jacket. Minor soiling to the white paper from shelf wear. Please see the images for details.
