20th Century Art Deco Style Apothecary Show Globe with Unique Stopper Dr Provenza Baltimore Md
From the estate of Dr. Stephen Provenza comes another amazing Apothecary item. One of the many working show globes the he used in now the Historic Medical Arts Building located in Downtown Baltimore Md. In working with the estate I have come to learn that many times his window displays won awards for best design give out by the Pharmacy board in Maryland.
Here is one that has a different and unique top stopper and is much different than the other ones I have seen. It does fit looser than other ones but it is how Dr. Provenza had it.
The base is a light weight aluminum and does have some surface rust and wear in some areas. I have photographed this area, please the images.
The total height is approx. 25" to the top of the cork.
There are not cracks or breaks in the glass.
I can not ship this item with the colored liquid.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to email me.
