A Pair of Madison Mitchell Pintails Decoys Male and Female circa 1970.
A Pair of Madison Mitchell Male and Female Pintail decoys from 1970. They are unsigned but have the Madison Mitchell tell tale signs of craftsmanship on these shooting decoys. The paint on both of the decoys are in excellent shape, very minor paint loss and minimal paint fading.
The Male has strong paint and and is in very good shape, except for a small hair line separation to the lower part of the neck and body. The mail is approx. 20" long. The female has strong paint and is still bright. The bottom of the decoy does not have the weight and shows signs of wear it was attached. The female measure approx. 17" long.
