This amazing and oversized Edition of Albrecht Durer Etchings is remarkable.
Each image is tipped in and as you can see from the photos, the quality of the plates is very nice.
As stated the book is a large and oversized Clothe bound edition with 109 Tipped in plates and the text is letter pressed. You can feel the text, you can feel it indented into the page. A remarkable quality printing.
The plates Photomechanical prints with remarkable clarity.
The Text is in German and printed in Germany, Muchen in 1914.
Size: 12 1/4 x 17 1/2 inches
Condition: Very good with some signs of use and slight wear. The front board's clothe has some water staining on the left side and goes to the spine and slightly to the back. The bottom of the spine has small wear and worn clothe on the corner, please see the images.
The binding has some wear from the weight and use but not torn or broken. No plates are damaged inside and all are tipped on securely.
