Ambrotype Case Image of Young Boy Ninth Plate Near Perfect Case

Size: Ninth Plate- 2 x 2.5 inches
Condition: case is in very good condition with slight signs of storage. Tight seam and minimal signs of storage or use. The image is slightly darker than other Ambrotypes. There is very light marks on the plate when viewed close and a small black mark on the edge of his nose. The seals are intact but are getting loose. The back plate is different than other Ambrotypes, it is a shiny metal, most are coated with a dark varnish. The outside brass mat has damage on the lower left corner.
