Black Jazz Records was a jazz record company and label. Founded in Oakland, California by the pianist Gene Russell and percussionist Dick Schory.
The label was created to help promote young African American jazz musicians and singers. The Label was short lived and released twenty albums between 1971 and 1975

Condition: Very fine with no tears or damage. Very light right edge wrinkle and very light staining on the right edge. Please see the images for more details.
