Chrome Body 1969 German Leica M4 with M 35/2.8 and Original Box and Leica Elmar 9cm f4 Telephoto Lens
A timeless and elegant camera design of the 1969 German Leica M4, 35 MM. This comes with the M 35/2.8 lens, Original Box and a Leica Elmar 9cm f4 Telephoto Lens.
The M4 started production in November 1966, with the serial number starting at 1175001 ending at 1443170, this one is 1212 507. They made both black and chrome body cameras.
The Leica camera is one of most sought after cameras, many famous artist of the 20th c. used a Leica. The German made lens are considered on the best and most precise ground glass of their time.
Original German Leica M4 with the dated owner's instruction Manuel of 1969. The box is made in Germany with original red pedestal display. The instruction book is in English. The camera stills have film, exposed, so has been used and the camera seems to be working fine. The estate does not remember when the camera was used last.
Included is the Lecia Leitz Elmar Telephoto Lens, made in Germany with what looks to be replaced leather near the mounting ring at the back. Includes the Leica lens cap. Condition: Very fine with light marks on the bottom of the camera body, light marks and no dents or damage. The back of the camera is missing some of the black faux leather wrapping, please see the photos. I have advanced and tested the shutter but I have not timed the shutter. All the shutter speeds are working and the aperture is moving fine. The camera is being sold as is. So please ask all questions before ordering.
