Pâte de verre is a form of kiln casting and literally translated means glass paste.
Daum France revived this process in the 1960's when the company started to produce their distinctive style of glass.
No cracks or damage that I have seen. Their are small air bubbles in some areas but this does not effect the beauty of this piece.
Size: 8 3/4 x 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 wide base and approx 3" deep
