Early 1900s Federal Style Sideboard Mahogany
A Federal style sidebaord, circa 1900.
This Centennial period, circa late 1800's was a period of production that reproduced the early styles of American and some European furniture.
Potthast was a famous Baltimore furniture maker that did this type of Centennial furniture.
The sideboard is in Federal Style with the thin band inlay and finely tapered legs. Two side doors and a large two door center is a typical design of Federal design.
Condition: Good with some veneer issues inside on the doors, (please see the photos to get a visual description). Some small inlay is missing on one leg. The Finish is slightly uneven.
