New England Daguerreotype Plumbe National Gallery Court Street Ninth Plate of Woman with Bonnet No Case
Daguerreotype of woman with floral bonnet. Label on the back Plumbe National from New England No case. The woman has a her best floral bonnet. Her clothes with lace have amazing details, this is a great quality of the daguerreotype process but the detail of her bonnet tie and her lace color. I have tried to photograph this detail but even a general image you can see the details.
The back has the label fo the photographer, Plumbe National Gallery which was based on 75 Court Street in New England. Founded in 1840 by W. B. Eastman & Co.
