Qajar Dynasty Wall Tile of Two Princes On A Hunt With Spears Circa 1880s Polychrome with Transparent Glaze
Circa last quarter of the 19th C. Qajar Tile of Two Princes on a Hunt with spears.
The two young princes are on horse back, a scene often depicted ind the Qajar dynasty art. The Tile is large, approx 12" long and about 1" thick. The tile is made of a stonepaste, moulded and painted in polychrome colors with a transparent glaze over the colors.

My Client lived and worked in the Middle East during the the 1960's and 70's and acquired a large collection of artifacts from years of travel. They worked for a military engineer company.
Size: 12" long
Condition: Very fine with back having old felt covering the back, Light wear to the edges from age but no cracks or damage to the front of the tile. Please see the photos for more details.
