SIGNED Grace Hartigan A Painter's World by Robert Saltonstall Mattison 1990 1st Edition Hudson Hill Press
Grace Hartigan, the amazing and dynamic artist of the 1950's New York School, her paintings are considered the example of that style of painting. She stood alone as one of the few women who were recognized in the art movement that was dominated by men. She was the only woman selected for the 19565 show, Twelve Americans.
Baltimore calmed here and man shows in the 1980's had her art in them.
