Story of A Junkie 1987 Original Painting for Troma Film From The Artist Collection

Story Of a Junkie
1987

"STORY OF A JUNKIE breaks new ground, and challenges the viewer to face portrayals almost too real.
John Spacely is your tour guide through the terror ridden streets of New York’s East Village. Known as Alphabet City, it was the drug supermarket of the modern world.
Growing up in California, John Spacely had everything going for him…or did he? He arrived in the Big Apple as a young man hoping to make his fortune and find his identity. What he found was the dark and desperate world of drugs."

Oil on board  35” x 25”

A slight departure for Zimic and her covers of the Horror films but this one is no less detailed and is over the top. A throw back to the pulp covers of the 50's, this film art gives you a picture of what you are gonna see in true Troma style.
