Very Rare and Near Fine Condition Circa 1930 Bambino Tobacco Tin Bialey Bros Inc Babe Ruth
From a local estate in Baltimore Md. This Smoking Tobacco Tin has never been to auction or been on the market before.
The estate collected mostly Antique Toys and Lionel Trains but the estate has been in the same family house since early 1900's in Baltimore Md.
The Bailey Bros. Inc. made one of the most collectible Tobacco Tins, The 1930's Bambino Smoking Tobacco Tin. The silhouette image of Babe Ruth swinging the bat has been an image used and has immortalized this likeness.
The Tin is in Extra Fine Condition and a simple search and comparison you will see that this piece is in better than ones that have recently sold and previously sold.
I have included multiple angles of the tin to give you a visual detail description and I will document any obvious flaws.
Condition: Top Tobacco stamp on top is missing and some scraps/ abrasions and gold paint lose on the top lid. Minor chips and scraps on the front image, Back has paint lose on the left side and lower left section. Stamp on back is faded but intact. Side stamp which would have continued to the top is partial on the side.
Size: 3" wide 4.5" high
