Victorian Era Photo Album Latches and Decorated Edges 23 Images CDVs and Tintypes From Peekskill New York

Circa 1890's. this great little photo album holds CDV and small tintypes, most are Gem and 9th plate size with decorative mats.
The book is not dated but circa 1880's

Made to look like a bible this small latched album has tooled leather, gilt front and back and spine and the edge of the pages have a impressed flower design, a really charming and nice album.
The front and back of the album has added cabochons, the front is missing 3, the back has all four. 

There are 23 images in the album and all are in great condition except for a few that have faded, please see the images of all the photos included. 

Size: 6 x 5 1/4 x 2 1/2 thick 
Condition: Fine with a small edge tear on the bottom of the spine. The binding is weak but intact, shows signs of use and wear. Please see the images for more details
