Halloween Postcard by HB Griggs Leubrie Elkus Black Devil Jack-O-Lantern 1907

Halloween postcards are very collectable and scarce and when they do come up for sale, they dont last long. 

This great black devil sitting on top of the carved pumpkin is done by the artist, HBG. 

Art by HB Griggs who made more than 500 postcards and worked for the firm of Leubrie & Elkus in New York. He made several variations of this design.

Condition: used with writing on the back and orignal stamp and dated 1908. The card has a wrinkle line where it was folded. The image is still strong with great color. Please see the images for more details.
