J. W. Myers and Co. Metal Grocery Store Sign Circa 19th c. 1.jpg

Late 19th c. Hand Painted Grocery Sign Metal with Decorative Scroll Design on Top and Bottom

late 19th/ early 20th c. hand painted and made grocery store sign.
The scroll design reminds me of very early pre fire of Baltimore signs. At one time Baltimore was one of the top producers of decorative iron.
The sign would have hung on the side of building or pole, since the sign is slightly convex.

Size: 20 wide x 38 long x 4 deep

Condition: worn paint and to the metal and sign. You can still clearly make out the grocery store and name. No modern repairs and the signs has never been altered by my client. Please see the images for more details.
