Ninth Plate Ambrotype with Man in Widewake Hat and Piercing Eyes No Case 1860s with Attribution

A ninth plate ambrotype, no case but details on the back of the image. Written in old iron ink and pencil, the notes on the sitter is a mystery. I am having a hard time deciphering. There is more notes in pencil but that has faded, I can not make that out. 
The only thing I can make out is Mr. Abraham Durel (?). 

The man is dressed well, the hat looks to be a hat called a "widewake" hat, these hats in the US were sometimes called quaker hats. According to online source, "It was also associated with the Wide Awake Party, an abolitionist Republican Party affiliate organization in the 1860s in the United States" This would put this ambroytpe in the 1860's and does appear to be an earlier ambrotype based on the mat and process. 
His eyes are piercing and is a well taken image with very strong clarity. 

Size: 9th plate
Condition: no case, but the image is very clean with a few tiny and small marks on the image. The mat has some wear and is slightly bent. The ink notes on the back can be read but the pencil notes are very difficult to read due to fading and age. Please see the images for details.
