This edition is a facsimile edition of the early publication. Published this time by the Occult Chapter in California, International Guild Of Occult Science or also know as IGOS.  The organization sold course books on magick and other occult practices as well as reprinting long out of print books on Magic and other esoteric practices. Hardback in black faux leather binding with gilt printed lettering on the front and facsimile printed pages. 

Mysteries & Secrets of Magic was originally written by Charles John Samuel Thompson (27 August 1862 – 14 July 1943), most well known as Charles J. S. Thompson, the book has been reprinted and published many times. The first publication of his book was 1928, this rare publication, printed in limited quantities is a facsimile of the first edition. 

Size: 8 3/4 x 11 1/2 inches 
Condition: the binding is fine with some signs of use, the front cover has light shelf wear but the back has water damage that has affected the last few pages. Appears to be water damage, please see the images for more details.
