A text based conceptual artist who used his art to alter an environment, changing the room. An example was "… “The piece may be fabricated,” addresses whether the imagined gesture or actual creation of a work have any hierarchal difference in regard to the assessment of art."

Factory records who used Peter Savillewhose graphics were an important part of the bands and Factory records. In 1987 Factory Records New York head Michael Shamberg commissioned Weiner to create this poster.

A scarce New Order promotional poster advertising their album Substance, designed by the fine artist Lawrence Weiner. The poster is sought after by both Lawrence Weiner and New Order collectors to this day.

Condition:  Holes in all four corners with pin holes and light chipping and faint edge wrinkles from storage. Top right has small chip.
