14K Gold Hunting Case 1907 Pocket Watch by B&K Swiss Assay Marks and German Import Hallmark Crown Running Condition
A very nice 14K Gold Hunting Case Pocket Watch by B&K with Swiss assay marks and German Import Hallmark crown Working Great.
B&K mark in Diamond is Bourquin & Kenel of La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1890 for watch movements and cases.
Very nice hallmarked Swiss marks, 2 squirrels. These were to show that an item that was to be exported to one of these countries had passed assay at the higher 0.585‰ standard, Swiss bureaux de contrôle were authorised to hallmark cases with the decimal fineness mark of 0·585 with two squirrels, one large and one small on opposite sides of the decimal fineness mark.
German Imperial Crown which meant the watch was imported to Germany.

Condition: Very fine with a small chip on the porcelain face, top between the 11 and 12, please see the images for details. The cases is very fine with detailed hallmarks. The watch is running but has not been cleaned or aligned by my client or his family in over 25 years. Please see the images for more details
