1800's Meerschaum Antique Lap Pipe with Carved Dog Head

A large Antique mid to late 1800's Meerschaum Carved Dog Head Lap Pipe.
The meerschaum has aged to a rich and beautiful darker Amber color. The stem is a replacement stem that appears not to have been used.
The total length of the pipe is approx. 13 1/2" long. The Carved Dog Head is approx. 2 1/2" high x 3" long.
