19th C Oil On Canvas German Street Scene
Oil on Canvas, circa 19th century
Signed lower left the best I can make out, F. Roy. The painting appears to have the original varnished which has started to yellow. The yellowish varnish is distorting the the full signature.
A charming old world German Small Town Scene.
Size: Canvas 9 3/4" x 13"
Frame 19 3/4" x 23"
Condition: Fine, slight cracking to ground. The original varnish has slight orange tone but details and colors are fine. One small pin hole at bottom of canvas, please see image.
The frame is in good condition with small gesso loss to inside portion of the frame
