Henry St. Clair Whitehead (March 5, 1882 – November 23, 1932), a minister and one of the best horror and supernatural writers and was most noted for adding Voodoo to his writings.
West India Lights is a collection of fantasy and shorty story horror published by Arkham House in 1946.
Arkham House started in "1939 by August Derleth and Donald Wandrei to publish hardcover collections of H. P. Lovecraft's best works, which had previously been published only in pulp magazines. The company's name is derived from Lovecraft's fictional New England city, Arkham, Massachusetts. Arkham House editions are noted for the quality of their printing and binding."
Condition: very fine with tight and secure binding. No damage to the pages with minimal signs of use. Dust Jacket is very fine and is unclipped. Dj is clean with slight soil from age. Please see the images for more details.
