John Wieners lived in California from 1958-1960 and was part of the San Francisco Renaissance and moved back to NYC in 1961 and lived with Herbert Huncke. It was in 1964 that he published his second book, Ace of Pentacles which was very well received. 
He is more known as a Beat Poet than Black Mountain. 

Condition: light toning to the front with light shelf wear. Binding is fine but does show signs of use and wear. The back cover binding is slightly loose.  No writing inside.
