"The Naked Lady" as it was simply titled was done circa 1906.
Adrien Barrere (French, 1874 to 1931) was part of the Belle Epoque caricature lithograph of Paris Medical Faculty members "The Naked Lady", Paris 1914-1915. He studied Law and Medicine and then turned his career to caricature and did many posters for the Parisian cinemas and the Grand Guignol, a theater who specialized in horror.
Barrere's lithographs of the Paris Medical Faculty became a huge success and almost every student of medicine bought a copy of one of his caricatures of the Medical Faculty.
Size: framed with nice black molded frame behind glass. Frame is 40 1/2 x 24 inches
