American Art Deco Aluminum Pirate Mask Wall Sconce Theatre Amusement Park circa 1930s
This amazing wall sconce in the shape of a pirate face from the golden age of American Art Deco movement
A single bulb illuminating the eyes and the mouth.
Used in a theater and or an amusement park, this cast aluminum light is one of the best lights I have had.
These lamps are very scarce and do not come up for sale often.
SIZE: 10” tall x 7 1/2” tall
Condition: the lamp will need to be rewired and the patina on the face is worn as well as the gold colored paint on the pirate’s scarf wrap. I have not see others with this attached jewel on the center of the head, and this may or may not be original to the piece. The ears have been modified, originally the hoop earrings were casted on the wear. No cracks or tears to the aluminum. Please see the images for more details.
