Antique Hoffman Carnival Shooting Target Two Roosters Mechanical Target Gallery with Metal Posts
Circa early 1900 Cast Iron Mechanical Hoffman Carnival Shooting Gallery Two Roosters and Target with original metal posts
Back of the Roosters and Target are stamped with "H" in circle, Hoffman's mark.
This piece, like the roulette wheel, comes from the same client who collected their items in the 1940's-1950's.
This early and obviously used antique, circa early 1900's mechanical target has made by Hoffman. I have seen levels of the target, another level of targets can slide onto the rods. The simple mechanism of shooting each rooster will push each rooster over and shooting the target will reset the target. The gallery has the original white and red paint, but worn off on the target and the rooster and where the target was struck by the bullet.
The mechanism is working well but will I have not cleaned or altered.
Size: 10 1/4 inches wide x 17 1/2 inches tall
Condition: fine with original paint on both rooster and target and supports. The mechanism is working fine. The metal rods does have some signs of rust. The target and mechanism has marks where the item was struck by target gun. Please see the photos for more details.
