Antique Skull Kapala Tibetan Ritual Vessel

Antique Human Skull Kapala.
The skull cap, called a Kapala are used in Tibetan spiritual and cultural practices.
They would use these as vessels in Tibet are used in  "monasteries a kapala is used symbolically to hold bread or dough cakes, and wine". 
A lot of these in Tibet are mounted with silver and other ornaments. 

An extraordinary piece and over 100 years old with beautiful patina. 
My client got this piece years ago, being a Doctor he collected artifacts and pieces of spiritual and healing.
