The kapala is part of a skull cap. Lined with silver and has applied strip of silver stylized skulls around the edge.
In Vajrayana Buddhism, the kapala symbolizes transformation and the cycle of life and death, reflecting the concepts of impermanence and rebirth.
It represents the transformation of delusion into wisdom and the comprehension of the transient nature of the human body.
Size: 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches
Condition: no chips or breaks to the skull. Wear and aging to the skull and the silver lining is intact with very light marks in side. Please see the images for more details.
