CDV Civil War Soldier Tax Stamp Lancaster PA. Soldier Last Name Barge
CDV image of a Lancaster Pa Civil War Solder.
The photographer marked on the back Charles W. Berman, 26 West King Street Lancaster, PA.
US tax stamp in the back is a Washington 2 cent stamp
Back of the photo is marked: "Lizzie Barge" is written in pencil and states that it is "her brother"
Unknown regiment but the simple dress is probably a private enlisted man. I magnified the cap to best of my ability to see the insignia on the front of the cap.
Size: 3 7/8 x 2 1/2 inches
Condition: fine with minor bumps to the edges and slight soling at the bottom of the CDV.
