Circa 1980 Flat Weave Navajo Rug 2 1/2 Feet x 4 1/2 Feet Near Perfect Condition

Circa 1980 Flat Weave Navajo Rug, with solid black boarder and a beautiful geometric design pattern, Diamond Back pattern. 

The Navajo rug tradition has gone back but in the early 1900's these rugs were sold and traded and by the 20's the rugs were sold at trading posts. To this day the Navajo rug making is done for small shops and trading posts in the southwest. My client bought this rug around 1980 from one such small trading post. 
They have had the rug hung in their house and never on the on the floor, the rug is in unused condition. 

Size: 2 1/2 feet x 4 1/2 feet (24.5 inches x 48.5 inches) 

Condition: very fine with no wear. The rug has hung on a wall away from the sun so no wear or sun damage to the wool. No fading. A small area at the top has slight miss coloring of the black, please see the photos for more details.
