Circa 1980 Miniature and to Scale Sideshow Train Car Wood and Painted Folk Art Outsider Art
I am not sure of the maker of this and the following post but they deserve to have a closer look.
Miniature, well 24 inches long, versions of antique sideshow train cars with folding painted banners.
In the past, the circus would travel by rail and this small folk art homage to those days.
The train and banners, the originals would have been painted on canvas, the most famous painter was Snap Wyatt. These banners are painted on hinged wood.
The train doors open and the wheels move, so in a way a working model the railway circus and slideshow.

Size: 24 long x 18 tall
Condition: fine with some light soil from age and light wear to the metal hanging lights. Please see the images for more details
