Year: approx. 19th c.
The body of the lure is made of Mother of Peal, with a hand carved turtle shell hook held in place by nature fiber binding cord.
A beautiful example of the Solomon Island native fishing lures. The island is close to Papua New Guinea.
Size: 3 1/4" long
