Circa 1913 Victoria Texas and Vicinity Original Photos and Military Survey Document Tillghman
Samuel Harrison Tilghman (1885- 1961) was the son of the Oswald Tilghman, Officer in the Confederate Army and Maryland Senator, Talbot County, (1894–96); Secretary of State of Maryland (1904–08); affiliate of the Maryland Democratic Party; author; and was active in veteran affairs. Native of Talbot County, Maryland.
Samuel Harrison Tilghman, a graduate in civil engineering of Lehigh University, class of 1907 and was working with the Army Corp of Engineer and was part of the surveying team in Texas.
The book is privately bound and is mini graphed copy of the report filed and completed by Tilghman. The photos are original and are hand written captions.

Photos: 31 pages front and back.
Size of Book: 9" x 11 1/2"
Condition: Fine with some wear to some pages, pages are very thin. Photos are fine with no damage.
