Circa 1920's Ludwig Tenor Banjo 19 Fret Bellevue W/ Hardshell Ludwig Case
One of the greats, a Ludwig made Banjo. Ludwig, know to many as a drum maker, but they also made banjos in the Jazz explosion of the early 1900's.
Beautiful detailing on the gold plated hardware, etched metal bands, styled banding on the wood resonator and fine mother of pearl inlay on the ebony fret boards and head stock.
The tuning pegs are a "ivory" like, most likely Celluloid.
The hard shell case also the Ludwig company case, with original metal badge on the inside.

Condition: minor finish wear on the neck and tail of the neck, please see the photos. The head piece has small crack in the top laminate. The Neck appears to be tight with no visible cracks or warping.
