Circa 1950's Plaster Articulated Plaster Figure Of Man Advertising
Circa 1950's Plaster and wire figure with painted features.
The figure has painted head, neck, legs and feet, making me believe this is a small advertising figure. Most likely the clothes went over the body and the arms being wire allowed articulation of the arms. The clothes didn't cover the hands, neck, head, legs and feet so these were painted for realism.
No maker marks but the torso has "1900" in pencil
Size: 15" tall
Condition: the had has been mended and the figure is missing a hand and the other hand is missing the fingers. Please see images for a visual description.
If you have any questions or if you need additional photos, please feel free to contact me.
