Complete Works of William Hogarth by James Hannay 150 Engraved Plates Full Moroccan Leather Binding
A late 1800's full Moroccan Leather with embossed gold detail of The Complete Works of William Hogarth with 150 engraved steel plate prints. Each one is sharp and crisp. The leather shows some wear but still in very good condition, with all tool work and gold embossed image of vignette of man's torso, dog & books. in Very Good Cond. 5 raised bands on the spine with tooled details.
The book has introduction essay by James Hannay and is printed and published by The London Printing and Publishing Co., 215 pages and Letterpress by Rev. J. Trusler and E. F. Roberts.
Size: 12 x 10 inches Quatro
Condition: Tight binding with sharp crisp images. Leather has some wear to outside edges. Wear to the edge of spine, please see the photos for a detail description.
