Continental Ivory Miniature of General in Ornate Cut Brass Frame
As I mentioned before in the other Ivory Miniature listing, the estate has a few of these amazing ivory paintings and I will be posting more in the future.
Here we have rich and bold colors in a detailed portrait of a French General and or Officer.
The painting is signed on the right side, which reads " Shiroins"
The back is marked, Made in Germany and is in a very nice cut brass frame. The size is approx.: 2 3/4" x 3 1/2" oval painted ivory and the frame is approx.
6 1/2" x 10".
Some velvet loss and the convex glass is not broken.
