Greek Artist Aristotle Solounias Resin Cast Sculpture Circa 1971 Sculptural Relief Untitled

Aristotle Solounias born in 1939 in Athens, Greece.  He studied Fine Arts at Cornell University and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1962 and Master of Fine Arts Degree in 1964. Between 1962 and 1964 he was Assistant to the Director of the Andrew Dickson White Museum of Art. In 1965 he became Director of  Graphic Arts at The Brooklyn Museum of Art, New York. 1971, Aristotle Solounias was commissioned to create a sculptural relief in bronze for the National Railroad Building in Athens, Greece. In 1972 Solounias founded the Pythagorean Academy of Art on the Island of Samos, Greece, in cooperation with the Boston Academy of Art.

From the same collection as the previous posted Aristotle Solounias Sculptural Relief, with the title "The Heavens Love- The Earth Rejoices". This piece is not titled, could be a continued panel to the other sculpture but not the same size so makes me lean towards this being a separate piece but from the same series. During this time, Solounias was creating reliefs in bronze for the National Railroad Building in Greece, this could very well be another piece for this large and monumental series. 

This piece with no title is more like an honor to humanity, with the pervious piece being called "The Heavens Love- The Earth Rejoices" this piece shows what humans can be and create. The lower portion shows an artist with creation of a sculpture, "art on pedestal", shows the ability of human mind and our ability to create. The top section has what I feel is love to another person or respect of each other. Yes the figures give admiration of love and beauty or in some ways respect for another. Wasn't that the underlining theme in Greek Myths, how the gods created humans and shared the gods ability to love? What better way to praise one another as to create art out of respect and love for that subject or person.
This is my view of what I see in this piece. Please make your own determination of what this and what both pieces mean to you.

Condition: Very fine, no damage to the resin or the art. Even patina and no chips or lost to the art. Please see the images for details.
