William Blake (November 28, 1757–August 12, 1827) did beautiful watercolors for Dante's book starting in 1824 and complete near the time of his death in 1827. A lot has been written about William Blake's use of Alchemy and Occult imagery in his art making his art for Dante a much talked about admired subject.
The Presentation The Folio Society does is top quality and very readable. The paper is stiff paper making the text and images bold all housed in a printed cover Slipcase of one of the watercolors from the book.

Book is 9 x 12 3/4 inches
Condition: Very Fine with slight shelf wear to the slipcase, very minor soiling. The Book is in near un-used condition with no markings and tight binding. All the pages are very clean with no markings.
