Jaime Oates Signed Oil painting Taxco Mexico Artist

Jaime Oates is noted artist that Studied in Europe and eventually settled in Taxco Mexico. Born in 1912 in Spain and later moving to Mexico in 1955. This painting is two figures holding containers about their heads. A strong expressionistic feel to the over all piece with blue as the dominate color. The painting is signed J. Oates in the lower right corner.
The painting has a very simple painted white wood strips tacked to the edge of the canvas, giving a nice full frame painting. The total dimension of the painting is 26" x 32".
Jaime Oates painting have gained considerable notoriety and have been collectible in the art world over the past several years. This is a great piece that is ready to hang.
