Karl Springer Brass and Chrome Table Mirror High Modernist Circa 1980
Karl Springer Brass and Chrome Table Mirror Circa 1980
Karl Springer's designs were a combination of Art Deco with Pop Art. His larger rounded legs of his tables gave a Pop sense to his designs. A strange Art Deco design element was the foundation of his work but his design were very modern in execution and ultimately in the finished product. He used exotic materials like hides but he remembered well for his high polished metals.
His mirrors are ones that people immediately recognize and the vanity mirror is at the top of the list.
The Vanity Mirror has a high polished chrome mixed with a polished brass giving the vanity mirror it's Art Deco influence.
Size: 17 1/2 tall x 25 3/4 x 6 inches deep
