Kodak no. 1 Camera Snapshot Woman Sticking Tongue Out Round Snapshot Circa 1890
Kodak no. 1 Camera Snapshot Woman Sticking Tongue Out Round Snapshot Circa 1890
The Kodak No. 1 Camera was the first really of its kind, a disposable mass market camera that was point and shoot. The camera was a box camera loaded pre-rolled with film for 10o negatives. Once you took all the images, you send the camera back and they would develop and send back the negatives and the camera re loaded with film. The negatives had a round image, due the low quality lens, distortion was at the edges so they masked off the negative to round.
This image is one of the snapshots we hope to find, people having fun! Fun to the point that it breaks the stereotypes of what we think of the people back then. This woman, sticking her tongue out at the photographer, you don't expect to see people doing that
