Lambert's Pictorial Anatomy Chart Late 1800s Pull Down Medical Scroll Bougery and Jacob Paris
Lambert's Pictorial Anatomy Chart, dated 1851.
Republished from Bougery and Jacob, Paris
Printed in Colors by F. Michelin 180 Fulton St.
This amazing and early medical pull down is one of the earliest charts I have had and with such amazing details and color.
The Scroll is missing the bottom wood rod but this does not detract from the this early Medical display.
The paper is linen backed from the the original production and has a varnish over the paper, which is the yellowing that has occurred. Minor marks from age and use and some cracking to the paper in areas.
None of these are ever in good condition but this one is in better than the typical condition. A Very nice addition to a mid 19th C. collection.
The bottom line is entered in according to Congress 1851 by T. S. Lambert in the Clerk's Office. Southern District in New York .
Size: 22 x 36 1/2 Inches
Condition: Fine with some cracking to the paper and the varnish is yellowed. Missing the lower wood rod and some chipping at the edges. Please see the photos for details and for a visual description.
