Late 19th C. Cast Iron Revolving Bookcase Black with Gold Stencil on top and Sides

Late 19th C. Cast Iron Revolving Bookcase 
Painted black with gold stencil accents, this late 1800's 2 shelves cast iron revolving bookcase. 
 The top has a gold stencil on the edges and the small drops on the sides mirror the scroll design. The base does not have have wheels, but sits level on the floor. 
I have only seen a handful these metal bookcases in my time. The bookcase will make a great additional to your library or display in your house. 

Size: 16 1/4" square top and 24 1/2" tall

Condition: sturdy with wear to the top black area, a water has damaged the paint but the metal is not damaged. The stenciling has some wear and light damage but is intact. The base has wear and fading to the metal. Please see the images for more details.
