Late Meiji Japanese Tansu Cabinet 1800's Chest Cha Dansu Tea Utensil Chest

A very nice late 1800's Japanese Meiji era Tansu Chest. These small cabinets were sometimes used for Japanese sword hardware called Katana-dansu
Small shops used Choba-dansu, both styles are similar and this one could have been used for Sword Hardware of for a small shop.

This is a Cha Dansu (tea Utensil chest)

This piece was used by a Japanese Sword collector who used it to store his Tsubas, sword guards.
Top section has two sliding doors, with fabric covering the wood. NOTE, the fabric and the figure pulls are replacements.
The section with matching fabric is a small door that comes out. NOTE, original knob.
All other hardware appears to be original and are matching.

The piece appears to be made of Pine drawers, rosewood drawers and the outside is a teak. The cabinet is very light in weight.

Size: 22 3/4" wide x 10 1/2" deep x 24 1/4" tall
Condition: Fine with minor bumps to the edges. Back is a split wood back and the drawers inside has shrunk, so visible wear due to age.
