Le Corbusier Style LC4 Chaise Lounge Leather Seating and Cushion
Le Corbusier, the architect, painter, furniture designer and interior designer as well as theorist, almost single handedly created the modernist movement. Pivotal and controversial, his furniture designs have lasted as long as Mies Van Der Rohe and Marcel Breuer in the cannon of modernist design but his architecture and urban planning has suffered since his association with the pre WWII fascist movement.
His future has no equal though, and his LC4 chaise lounge is one of the best designs of modernist and early industrial design. The lounge was created…."in 1928 and exhibited at the Paris Salon d’Automne in 1929, LC4 Chaise longue à reglage continu embodies the relationship between form and function in the balance between design purity and comfort." The chaise lounge is attributed to Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand who created the chaise in 1928
This is a later style of the famous LC4 chaise Lounge, made of mat black steel and leather with chrome frame it is amazing.
